Game Crashes - Manager Career Mode, Settings Club Transfers PS4

Hi there,

I don't play many videogames other than FIFA/EA Sports FC and so have not forked out for a better console but am a loyal Career Mode player on the PS4 since FIFA 15.

Just got FC26 but it is unplayable. I feel kind of helpless about it as I've seen multiple threads from people with the same issue and it doesn't seem to have been resolved.

I play Career Mode but tend to create my own club. I create some fictional players and mix them in with real ones and have been doing this since FIFA 22. I also change clubs around in settings using the Club Transfer but this has meant the teamsheets and squads have locked so they can't be edited and the game crashes with an error if I try to make anymore transfers. I then cannot start a kick off or Career Mode as it also crashes.

This has made buying FC 26 completely pointless as I have never played Ultimate Team/Pro Clubs etc. as it is not my thing. It is absolutely ridiculous how overlooked Career Mode is just because it doesn't generate more profit than other modes.

Career Mode is just clunky and takes way too much time to devote to it compared to FIFA 22 when I first started doing this sort of thing.

P.S. having the players decide when they want their contract renewed is also just rather annoying.
