Game freezes/crashes when opening Squad Battles

The game completely crashes when I try to enter the squad battle lobby. When i try to play solo or I invite a friend to join for squad battles it crashes, but when I join a friend for his squad battle the game works fine. Other game modes work fine too, just not squad battles.

Everything is up-to-date, game is reinstalled multiple times.

Platform: PS5

Game: EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Edition

I've installed the PS4 version and this has the same crash

I’m having the exact same issue on Xbox, it’s after I updated my opponent’s 

Same problem. 
i tried with another account and ut works ok.. so ny pc is not the problem 

Friend tried with my acc to, and he cant play too.

it is for sure acc problem, ea please fix this

Same. Ea as usual.. important thing is, that buying fifa points is working..

I start the squad battles game mode on PC and the game immediately stops…

I already uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, repaired it but it didn't work.

FestiveKangarooy, PC and timestamp will be roughly 10:45pm BST yesterday but happened many times between 6pm- 10:45pm, everytime I tried to load squad battles. 

The issue is that FUT works fine with div rivals, moments and accessing features but as soon as I try to enter Squad Battles mode, it briefly says 'downloading' for roughly 2 seconds and then the game closes, like it's been alt f4'd. So I cannot access squad battles at all but every other gamemode works. Any fixes would be great, thank you!
