Game will not load

So when i open the fc26 trial on my PS4, the game starts fine and it gets to the point where it says connecting to Ea servers, it then connects and move to the next page and it refuses to load past that point. I’ve restarted the app, restarted the console, left it for ages and in the hours of trying it still won’t load past that screen, i’ve also tried to click “play offline” when that option pops up but i am continuously being stuck at the same screen, however whilst on this screen the small FC logo at the bottom is still moving so i know it’s not an issue with the console (and in addition other games are working perfectly fine) i’ve deleted the trial and reinstalled but nothing has changed, i have bought the ultimate edition which is playable from midnight (bst) but how do i know the same thing won’t happen and ive blown almost £100 up the wall?
