HALFTIME LAG AND FPS DROP

I am playing manager career mode on my (very capable) PC and at halftime, the game becomes unplayable. It lags drastically. It is immensely irritating.

I tried everything I found on forums so far and nothing works, including capping framerate on NVIDIA, lowering game settings and changing display settings, updating drivers, disabling gameinput service etc.

A LOT of people have the same issue, so please LIKE this post to make sure EA sees it!!!!

If anyone knows what to do, please reply.
