I can't log into the game

When I try to start the update, I get a "Installation failed" error and I can't access my profile. I've repaired, uninstalled, and reinstalled the game, but I haven't found a solution. Please help.

    Hey there! Please check your antivirus and firewall settings and make sure the game is allowed as an exception. Also, see if changing the installation folder helps — the default install location is usually best, but you can change it in the EA app settings.

    Yes, I've tried everything, checked, deleted, installed it on different drives, and checked the files, but I'm still having the same problem and haven't gotten any results. I don't want to delete the profile.

    You can create a backup copy of the profile folder to see if the old one was damaged. 

    To make a copy and delete the existing settings folder, go to this location C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 (App Data is usually a hidden folder so it can be changed from the View dropdown.) After that, you may also need to delete the Personal Settings 1 profile when you launch the game.
