Input delay after new update on PC

My laptop’s refresh rate is 60hz only. I have set fps to 60fps and turned on Vsync. Still the controller stops functioning every time there is a corner or a goal kick or any dead ball thing in the game. The pass button oddly works and the cross and shoot too but somehow the left analogue and player change stops working, so no movement. I have tried all graphics settings too. 😔 right from low to medium to auto. Cant use high etc my laptop isn’t very high end. 

My controller didn't work when I bought the game, but somehow I managed to find a temporary fix, it was all good, just lagging a bit on default fut champs stadium on online, other stadiums were perfect without lag, and on offline mode like squad battles it was all going perfect without any problems.THEN UPDATE 1.03 CAME, I can't play squad battles anymore, huge lags through the whole game, can't play rivals games on any stadium(before it was only a bit problems at fut champs stadium like I said) because of enormous game lag and input lag.

EA just fix this please, when you update the game, test it for the real world...

This is exactly what is happening to me. The game was somewhat smooth before the update in Squad Battle. Now the game has a lot of lag. As for the online game, it is a disaster. It had many problems. Before the update, the game was good sometimes and bad most of the time. Now, whenever I enter a match, there are no responses and the controller lags. There are problems. We, the computer players, want compensation within the game for our lack of progress in any online stage because of these problems. By compensation, I mean that you grant us qualification or something.

EA, please fix the game.

I’m honestly beyond frustrated and disappointed. Ever since the release of the Ultimate Edition, the game on PC has been a complete mess. The controller keeps disconnecting randomly, and I’ve had to quit almost every match because of it. I kept getting disconnection warnings, even when my internet was fine. The only mode that worked somewhat smoothly was offline Squad Battles — until Update 1.03.

That update completely broke the game.

Now, every single input has a 3–5 second delay — even in offline mode. It feels absolutely horrible to play. The gameplay is unresponsive, laggy, and just flat-out unplayable. And what’s most infuriating is that this was supposed to be the update that fixed input and controller issues. Instead, it made everything worse.

I didn’t pay for the Standard Edition — I bought the Ultimate Edition, expecting a polished experience. Instead, I got a broken mess of a game that’s only gotten worse with each patch. It feels like you don’t care at all about the players who paid extra and trusted you.

This isn’t just disappointing — it feels like we’ve been robbed. EA, do better. We deserve better.

The game on computers is really disastrous. I can't play any online match because of the delay and the controller. I'm from Egypt.

i still have the problem even after yesterday update we still loosing a lot of games because of this the game start lagging and i don't have any controll over the players i hope you fix this fast

Same here, can’t do anything in any online mode

After the update on 3/10/2025 I started to have problems with the 11vs11 online mods, in mods like rush or squad battle there's no problem but if I start a division rivals or a 1v1 with a friend there's like a 5 sec of input delay on every thing i want to do.
