Input delay all day except late at night

If I actually had a connection issue, the problem would be constant, it wouldn’t magically disappear every single night at the same time around midnight when the servers are less loaded.

And of course I’m using a wired connection, no background apps, all overlays disabled. My connection is stable the entire time, which is also confirmed by your own Connection Quality Report (image in attachment).

Last night around 2AM, the gameplay was smooth and fully responsive - no input delay, connection score 98. Today around 1PM, the gameplay was sluggish, player reactions delayed by almost half a second - same connection score: 98.

There’s absolutely nothing indicating that my connection is the problem. It’s more than clear that the issue lies on the server side, and that’s as obvious as it gets.

That it improves outside peak hours points to it being network or ISP based consigliere087​.

If it was a server issue it would be constant and at all hours of the day.

And how do you explain the fact that EAs own Connection Quality Report shows identical results for my connection at 2AM and at 1PM, but I'm getting a completely different gameplay experience? If the problem was with my connection, I'd be getting a different connection score, wouldn't I?

If it works perfectly fine late at night when there’s less traffic, but becomes unplayable during the day when servers are packed, how does that point to a problem on my end? That logic makes zero sense. 

That’s like saying if you’re stuck in traffic every day at 1 PM, it’s because of your car - not the road. Come on. The game clearly struggles when the servers are under heavy load, not when my “car” (connection) is driving on an empty highway at midnight.

It’s honestly not okay to keep posting such ignorant and childish replies instead of actually addressing the obvious problem this game has. We’re paying for this game, you can’t just treat us like we’re crazy. 

You are free to spin it any way you wish consigliere087​ and blame anything and everything but this is something that you need to work on from your end.

I’m definitely not the one who's spinning here. I’m literally showing you data from your own Connection Quality Report, yet you keep ignoring all of it and posting the same typical 'copy-paste' arrogant replies.

When I get the exact same connection score (97-98, no packet loss, stable ping) but the gameplay feels completely different depending on the time of day, that’s not something I can "work on from my end".

We're paying for this game and we deserve proper communication and transparency, not dismissive replies like this. There are countless threads, messages, and reports right here on this forum being posted every single day about input delay. Yet all you ever do is reply with "work on it from your end" and completely ignore the massive issues this game clearly has. And in the end, I’m the one here who’s "spinning"  things.

If your only answer is 'work on it from your end', maybe you should start working on it from yours.

consigliere087​ he is just not allowed to admit any wrongdoings on eas side, even if faced with definitive proof. It got to the point where ea representatives will lie in every sentence regarding fc26 performance issues, which is bizzare at times.

Every year there is a group of people having those issues - they speak about it, and nothing is being done.

I have even changed my entire PC, also my internet providers over 3 or 4 last years, yet the issue remains.

Me, you, thousands of other people are having issues within fc26 and not any other game they play. It's always fifa/eafc that doesnt work properly, but surely the problem is on your side, not theirs. 

I know how you feel - you have spent a lot of money to get this game, even bought some in-game packs, and you cannot enjoy for what you paid for. You are looking for help, and you are being literally spat in the face by their comments, which frankly I see as being disrespectful.

I also have 98/100 score pretty much always (day/night) on their connection tool, yet I have exactly same issue as you do - I can only play responsive football around midnight, and that's it.

The solution is to stop buying ea products my friend, they have never respected their customer base, and they never will. Just look at what they are doing to this game with every patch that comes out. This company doesnt deserve your money, nor your time.

The worst thing in all of this is that you have been shown how good, fun and rewarding this game can be when it works properly (good gameplay), and it's literally killing you inside when it doesn't. It's funny how we pay  hundreds of dollars just to be beta-testers for EA. It is us who should be paid, not the other way around.

CyfelBacarey​ I'm definitely not buying it anymore. Enough is enough. They should honestly just stop making a PC version, because it’s crystal clear they don’t care about the PC market or its players - or they’re just completely incompetent when it comes to optimizing the game properly.

I’m not paying full price for a game that’s only playable for a few hours a day, and only late at night when their servers aren’t overloaded. No way. I'm done with them.
