Intermittent match only FPS collapse on PC
Game Version: EA SPORTS FC 26 steam version
Hardware: GPU NVIDIA GTX 1650, CPU Ryzen 5 5600G, Ram 16 gb, ssd, windows 11
The game has severe performance drops during matches only, ocurring intermittently. Matches run at extremely low FPS, resolution drops very low, and gameplay becomes nearly unplayable. Menus and training modes are always fine. Performance is either normal or extremely bad with no gradual degradation. This hapens roughly half of the time and the problem is decided as soon as I load into a match, its either fine for the rest of the gaming session or completly unplayable. Lowering graphics settings, NVIDIA performance settings, reinstalling the game, verifying files, disabling background apps, G-sync or v-sync and updating drivers did not help to fix the issue. This issue did not occur in EA FC 25 on the same system. The problem appears tied to match rendering initialization adn feels related to fullscreen swap chains, shader compilation timing , and input device initialization. Menus and training modes dont trigger the problem. Matches should run consistently stable performance as they sometimes do without randome sever degradation. The game is unreliable to play on PC and the issue is likely and engine side bug, not a hardware problem.
