Issue w/ starting games on EAFC26

Ive been having this issue since at least FC25, if not the game before. When I load into a UT game =, I won't be able to select my kits - and if I start a pro clubs game without checking, I am unable to control my player. 

To remedy this, I have to dashboard and reload the game. After that it's Settings, Profile, Delete and finally delete my personal settings. I then have to dashboard and reload. If it saves my profile, all I have to do is confirm my team and then update my camera settings again. If it does not, I have to set all my team and settings up in their entirety. 

As you can imagine, this gets very tiresome very quickly. 

Does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this?
