Kick Off mode doesnt recognize my custom controls on PC

So my custom controls on Keyboard Only settings work perfectly in Career Mode or Tournaments, etc. But for some reason, whenever I enter Kick Off mode and choose a match to start, it always changes to Keyboard+Mouse settings and I cannot switch to my custom Keyboard Only settings at all. Please EA help me out.
