Lag in the beginning of the match

When I start a game in online friends (OF) after the first pass the game lags I keep pressing x to pass but it won't and my ping is 40 or 30 also under the player name there is like a green line appears when you pass. it appears when I press the x button but it won't work and it passes after like 5 seconds or more I have to close the game and open it again
