Low FPS after transition and replay

Since a few weeks I experience extreme frame drops after a transition (e.g. from goal to replay, but also in the menus). It is bad, real bad. Not only do I drop from 120fps to 1, it also takes multiple MINUTES for itself to fix. Everything goes in slow motion (while in 1 fps), only to speed up after a certain time. Sometimes I miss about 30 minutes of in-game time, just for the game to speed up.

I have tried the new drivers and removing the EA FC 26 map from my local map. Both of which did absolutely nothing. Neither did dropping down the settings, playing on fullscreen, borderless or windowed. I am at the end of my wits. I have experienced this before with different EA FC games (going back all the way to 24). Yet this has been the worst so far.

PS: I play on PC with the EA App version.
