Not allowing me to play rivals

Please see attached pictures of the display that comes up when trying to play rivals which has been the case all evening. 
This has been incredibly frustrating and I have tried resetting the game and application multiple times yet nothing has resolved this. As a result I have not been able to complete my rivals in preparation for rewards tomorrow which I feel as this is not fair and if there’s anything you can do to compensate and resolve this that would be greatly appreciated.
