When I enter friendlies my players have an orange indicator instead of a normal red one, I’m on PC and I use a ps5 controller.
I've tried to restart my pc, use another controller, change resolution, change framerate and so on.
This occurs in Ultimate Team when playing online against other people, but not against AI.
Possible solutions for orange player indicator (EAFC 26, Friendlies/UT online):
- Disconnect any extra input devices (keyboard, extra controllers, HOTAS, steering wheels, etc.)
- Ensure PS5 controller is set as the primary device in Windows Game Controllers
- Reset controller settings in-game or re-bind the "Switch Player" button
- Toggle Player Indicator / Name Bar settings in-game (on/off, or High Contrast Mode)
- Launch Friendlies via a different menu (e.g. Kick-Off first, then re-enter Friendlies)
- Disable overlays (Discord, Steam, GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar)
- Remove/rename config files in Documents/EA Sports FC 26/ to reset controller settings
- Clear EA App cache (C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Cache)
- Update/reinstall controller drivers and firmware (for PS5 controller in Windows)
- Test using wired USB connection instead of Bluetooth
