PC Controller issues second game on

So since the game came out I’ve had an issue where I play a game of clubs, controller working absolutely fine. I then press next match and controller works fine in the menus, once in the game, no input from the controller. 

The previous update, prior to 22/06/26, it worked, I could next match every time without issue. They have then updated the game and it’s back to having to restart the game every match to be able to play. 

Non of the ‘fixes’ that seem related to my issue have done anything from what I can tell. Is anyone suffering with the same issue and found a fix?
