Think they’re trying to solve it, fingers crossed
Extremely disappointing launch for PC players yet again. I can't recall a single year since I first moved from console to PC (FIFA 15 I believe) that hasn't had issues that make the game borderline unplayable for a portion of the playerbase. It's not as simple as your controller disconnecting and you can either unplug/reconnect it or swap to keyboard and mouse (LOL), you lose ALL control and your only option is to ALT+F4 quit the game - which comes with a forfeit and a DNF modifier.
To anyone offering potential solutions in the comments above - thank you for your efforts, unfortunately they are not permanent and not guaranteed to work for everyone. Personally I have tried setting my game to fullscreen + locking 60Hz, which worked for all of 2 games before the issue presented itself again (that being said, I do not intend on paying £50+ to play a game at 60fps when my PC is more than capable of hitting 144fps, or else I'd go back and buy a console again).
Personally I will use the rest of my trial hours to play some SB & check out a bit of Career Mode, but I will not be purchasing an EA Play Pro subscription as planned until this issue has been confirmed as fixed by members of the community.
