PC freezes entire system (hard lock)

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing a critical issue that makes EA SPORTS FC 26 completely unplayable on PC.

Every time I launch the game, after a few minutes of gameplay the entire system freezes — no crash report, no error message, no blue screen — the whole PC becomes totally unresponsive and I have to force shutdown with the power button.

My system:
• Windows 11
• Lenovo Legion 5
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti (mobile)
• Steam + EA App

What I have tried so far (without success):
• Latest NVIDIA drivers installed
• Reinstalling the game, EA App, and EA Anti-Cheat
• Verifying game files in Steam
• Disabling all overlays (Steam, NVIDIA, Discord, Xbox Game Bar)
• Forcing DX11 & DX12
• Running as administrator
• Limiting FPS
• Running in windowed mode
• Checking Event Viewer logs
• Disabling HAGS

The freeze is not a normal crash — the whole operating system locks up, and no Windows error is logged at the freeze moment.

If anyone has found a working solution, or if EA staff can confirm this is a known issue, please share any updates.

Thanks!
