PC Second Half 5FPS Lag

I am not alone in this issue and it seems to be a more common issue among EAFC PC users. It is beyond unacceptable that this bug has been in the game for over a month with nothing but silence on how to fix it. 

The bug is completely game breaking and has prevented myself and many others to be unable to play. Everytime I play a game, it slowly devolves into a powerpoint of 5 FPS (IF THAT)! At the beginning of each game, the gameplay is smooth as butter but the biggest noticeable change occurs at halftime. 

I have a fairly newer PC that has never had issues on performance for any Fifa/EAFC game (even during EAFC26 before the bug).

I have seen many of the community posts that state that they "fix" this, but all the methods I have tried via forums have not helped whatsoever. The methods I have tried:

  • Updated Graphics Driver
  • VSYNC Method + NVIDIA Panel
  • Lowered Graphics and Hair Strands
  • Lowered Resolution
  • Verified Steam Files
  • Launching on NVIDIA + EA App
  • Refreshing Cache in EA App
  • Uninstalling and Re-Installing

If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know! I know this post will be an echo chamber for other PC players because I figure EA is not going to help at all or address this MASSIVE GAME CHANGING BUG for the rest of the year.

    I did everything you did on your pc...and the game still plays like EA crap.  I am disheartened by EA at this point, this same issue has been going on for months with no fix.  You might also want to consider the following, : 

    *Make sure to uninstall the game and anti-cheat properly, before reinstalling. For some reason, the game and anti cheat dont completely uninstall properly for many.

    *In the installed apps section of your system, make sure only necessary apps open up at start up.

    *Defragment your computer and optimize your hard drives.

    *Launch the game, then go to the task manager.  Right click FC26 and  prioritize power management for FC26 with your GPU.  ( you might needs admin privileges)  This gives FC26 game priority to use gpu over other possible open items.

    *Verify your graphics card max frame rate by using the model number.  Then make sure the frame rate doesn't exceed your graphics cards max rate in the game settings. Most put it 2 to 3 frames below your max on the fc26 game settings.
