Performance Issue: Game drops FPS when match loads

I'm having a major performance issue with EA Sports FC 26 on PC and can't find a fix. My hardware should easily run the game, but something breaks as soon as a match loads.

What happens:

The game runs perfectly in menus and navigation.

As soon as I load into a match (kick-off, training arena, or any gameplay), the game drops to around 1 FPS.

Audio continues normally.

After leaving the match, the entire game remains extremely slow, including menus.

Restarting the game returns menus to normal until I try another match.

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7

GPU: RTX 3050 (laptop)

RAM: 16 GB

Storage: SSD

Latest NVIDIA drivers and fully updated Windows.

GPU usage while the issue occurs:

NVIDIA GPU ~90% usage

Integrated Radeon GPU ~2%

So the game is definitely using the dedicated GPU.

Things I have already tried:

Forcing the game to use the RTX GPU in NVIDIA Control Panel and Windows graphics settings.

Setting all in-game graphics to the lowest possible settings.

Updating NVIDIA drivers to the latest version.

Updating Windows completely.

Verifying game files through Steam.

Editing the config files to force lowest graphics and locking the file so the game cannot overwrite it.

Reinstalling anti-cheat.

Restarting the system and clearing shader caches.

None of these made any difference.

Additional info:

Menus run smoothly until gameplay loads, which makes me think the problem is something related to stadium rendering or gameplay assets rather than overall system performance.

I've also seen multiple people reporting similar issues but haven't found a confirmed fix yet.

If anyone has experienced this and found a solution, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
