Persistent Disconnect Issues on PS5 Preventing Game Completion
I’m writing to report a severe and ongoing issue with disconnects on my PS5 that’s making it impossible for me to play or complete any games. This has been happening almost every single match for the past three weeks, and it’s incredibly frustrating as it’s completely ruining my experience.
I’m on PS5 and keep getting disconnected mid-game, which prevents me from finishing any session. This occurs consistently, no matter the time of day or game mode. As a result, I’ve been unable to make any progress, and it’s directly impacting the value I’ve gotten from my purchases.
I’ve exhausted all the common fixes I could find online and from support articles, but nothing has resolved the problem:
- Cleared the cache in safe mode.
- Completely reinstalled the game (multiple times).
- Changed DNS settings to various public options (e.g., Google DNS).
- Restarted my PS5 and modem/router numerous times.
- Contacted my local internet provider, who confirmed no issues on their end (stable connection, no outages or throttling).
Additional Details:
- Network Type: NAT Type 2
- Connection: Wired via Ethernet cable (not Wi-Fi)
- This has persisted for nearly 3 weeks without improvement.
Given that I’ve invested in the season pass and can’t use it due to these disconnects, I’d like to request a full refund for what I’ve spent on it. I love the game when it works, but at this point, it’s unplayable for me.
I’d appreciate it if the tech team could look into this—maybe it’s a server-side issue or something specific to PS5 users? Any advice or updates would be helpful, but a refund would go a long way toward making this right.
