Persistent Ultimate Team disconnections on PC

Hi everyone,

I’m posting this to see if others are facing the same issue, because this has been happening consistently for around 3 weeks on PC Ultimate Team.

What works fine

Offline modes (Kick-Off, Skill Games) work perfectly.

Internet is stable (wired Ethernet).

I can usually play Squad Battles with the same starting XI without issues.

The problem

I frequently get disconnected from EA servers when:

I substitute a player during a Squad Battles match

I complete 2–3 SBCs, even when doing them slowly

When this happens, Ultimate Team becomes inaccessible with the message:
“Connecting to EA Servers is not possible at the moment.”

After that, FUT won’t connect for some time, even though offline modes still work.

Important pattern I’ve noticed

If I don’t make substitutions, matches usually don’t disconnect.

As soon as I bring on a sub, the game often disconnects.

The same kind of disconnect happens after a few SBC submissions.

This makes it feel like any squad or club state change (subs, SBC submissions) is triggering the issue.

It doesn’t seem related to how many matches I play — sometimes it happens after 10–12 SB matches, sometimes earlier.

Why I don’t think it’s a network issue

Offline modes are 100% stable.

Kick-Off works perfectly.

Squad Battles matches themselves can work, but FUT menus / SBCs / squad changes cause disconnects.

DNS, cache clear, router restarts, etc. don’t change the behavior.

My suspicion

This feels like a PC FUT backend / club state sync issue, where:

Squad changes or SBC submissions fail to sync correctly

EA servers drop the FUT session instead of showing an error
