Problems starting the game

Hello, i just bought the game, i have no problems with the anticheat apparently, because it lets me start the game, but as soon as the game window opens, its only a black screen, and after some seconds it disapears and sends me back to the EA app. I have the correct bios version and have secure boot activated. Pls help me as soon as posible

There are definitely a couple different things that could be leading to that issue. Are you seeing any error messages at all, or does the game just return you to desktop without anything else popping up?

Having secure boot activated properly is a great start, and I'd also double-check that you don't have any Windows updates or new GPU drivers available. If you're seeing any Windows updates, try installing those and restarting your system, then check one more time for additional updates that may have popped up before relaunching the game.

If you're running the latest GPU drivers already, it can sometimes help to use a program like DDU to perform a clean install of either those or a previous stable driver.

The other main possibility here is that another program is conflicting with the launch. You can check other background applications for anything that could be interfering, and be sure to add the game and launcher - whether EA app or Steam - as exceptions to any other security software as needed. Please also try temporarily disabling any overlays like Game Bar or Discord and let us know how things look afterwards!

EA update the game, EA update anti cheat, and I cant play the game and see blackscreen after the update
and I have to found out the problem myself?

Hey! I had the exact same issue for months and just fixed it today so I know how frustrating this is! Try this — go to Start and search for 'environment variables', open 'Edit the system environment variables', click 'Environment Variables' in the Advanced tab, look for a variable called 'GAME_DATA_DIR' and delete it, click OK and restart your PC. This was the fix for me after months of trying absolutely everything including DDU clean GPU driver reinstalls, Windows registry cleaning, system file checker, clean boot, new Windows user profile and so much more. Such a simple fix for such a frustrating problem! Hope this works for you too, good luck!
