Problems with connecting two or more controllers

Hi guys, I had the same problem and fixed it on Steam.

Go to Steam Settings > Controller > Controller Name.

When two or more controllers are active, they all appear with the same name like “Xbox Series X Controller.”

I changed the names — my controller has my name, and the second one has my brother’s name.

After that, I launched the game and it was finally fixed 👍🏻
