PS5 FC 26 Ultimate Team Connection Error

this is extremely frustrating, I purchased the ultimate edition of FC 26 to have early access to Ultimate team on PS5, and I have not been able to connect to Ultimate Team servers all weekend.  I have tried every few hours since Friday and it never worked, I tried all tips, hard wired to internet, tested internet on other activities and it is clearly a major issue with EA Ultimate Team servers.  This is infuriating and a complete disappointment.  We better get a refund or something for all of this frustration.
