R1 – EA Music overlay appears during a live match
Every time I use R1 to sprint/run with a player, the EA Music / EA Trax overlay pops up in the middle of a live match. This happens consistently and completely interrupts gameplay.
Before anyone replies with “check your settings” — I’ve already done all of it:
- EA Music disabled
- Music volume set to 0
- Controller mappings reset to default
- Console media controls disabled
- Game and console restarted multiple times
The issue still happens every single match.
This is clearly an input conflict bug where R1 (a core gameplay button) is incorrectly bound to the EA Music overlay. Sprinting is a fundamental mechanic — having a music UI appear mid-game is unacceptable and makes the game borderline unplayable.
Expected behavior:
R1 only controls sprinting / teammate actions during gameplay.
Actual behavior:
EA Music overlay appears during matches when pressing R1.
This is not user error and not a settings issue. It needs to be acknowledged, escalated, and patched. Please stop treating this like a minor audio bug — it directly affects core gameplay.
