Repeated “Pause Screen Locking Cheat” Incident in FC26 Champions

This is already the second major exploit or hack that I personally recorded in FC 26, but overall I have encountered similar suspicious incidents many times in Champions mode. At this point it has probably happened 10–20 times over the course of playing the game. I can no longer ignore this issue and decided to start documenting and publishing these incidents publicly.

During this specific match, my opponent immediately paused the game right after kickoff. I already know about similar suspicious tricks from previous matches, so I intentionally waited until the pause timer expired. However, after the pause ended, my screen became stuck on the stadium cinematic/introduction camera view where players are warming up before kickoff. At the same time, the match itself continued in the background. I could see the in-game timer and score changing while my opponent was actively scoring goals against me.

I was unable to see actual gameplay or control my players normally. The only thing available to me was partial menu/tactics interaction. Meanwhile, it appeared that my opponent could fully control the match on his side without restrictions.

This does not look like a normal bug anymore. It strongly appears to be an exploit, cheat, desync manipulation, or some type of hack being abused in FC 26 Champions to gain unfair wins and farm rewards, FC Coins, rankings, and stronger Ultimate Team squads. These accounts may even be connected to coin farming or black-market activity.

Previously I also experienced incidents involving controller/gameplay blocking, and now this new “screen lock” exploit has appeared again. Please investigate this issue seriously. I believe many other players may also be experiencing similar problems.

I am posting this publicly in hopes of finding other players who encountered the same exploit and to bring more attention to this issue within EA SPORTS FC 26.
