RW: South African servers
Dear EA Support,
I am writing to raise my dissatisfaction regarding the performance of EA FC servers in South Africa. For several weeks now, many South African players, including myself, have experienced severe lag spikes that have made the game frustrating and, at times, unplayable.
These issues became noticeable towards the end of FC 25 and have continued since, despite EA’s assurances that the product would deliver a smoother and more reliable online experience. Unfortunately, these promises have not been met, and as loyal players, we feel let down.
I want to make it clear that there is nothing wrong with my personal internet connection. This is not an isolated incident but a widespread issue affecting a large portion of the South African community, as reflected in numerous online discussions and complaints.
It is disappointing to invest in a product that repeatedly underdelivers, especially when players in South Africa feel neglected compared to other regions where servers appear to run far more efficiently. Empty promises undermine player trust, and if these problems persist, it risks alienating a dedicated player base.
I strongly urge EA to take immediate action in addressing the server problems in South Africa. Furthermore, I encourage fellow South African players to voice their complaints to ensure this issue receives the attention it deserves.
We value EA’s games, but we also expect the quality and stability that were promised to us. I hope that this matter will be prioritized and resolved without further delay.
