Second local account cannot load data in kick-off Unable to retrieve data error
Hello,
I am having an issue with EA Sports FC 26 on the same console.
When I try to add a second local account for split-screen (even in offline Kick-Off),
the game shows “Unable to retrieve data” and only one account is allowed to join.
Important details:
- This happens even in offline modes (Kick-Off)
- Second controller is assigned to a different console user
- Both console users have separate EA accounts
- Guest account is NOT used
- Local saved data/cache has been cleared
- Console has been fully power-cycled
- EA servers are connected successfully
- The issue persists every time
It looks like a local EA profile synchronization or entitlement bug for the second account.

Please reset or resync the EA profile data for the second account on your side
or advise how this profile can be fixed.
