When playing a match in Career Mode (as a manager), the first half runs smoothly with no performance issues. However, after halftime, upon entering the pause menu and returning to the game, the FPS drops drastically. The game becomes almost unplayable in the second half, forcing me to either restart FIFA 26 entirely or simulate the rest of the match.
Steps to Reproduce: Start a Career Mode match as a manager. Play through the first half – performance is excellent. Enter the pause menu at halftime. Resume the match for the second half. Notice severe FPS drops and stuttering.
Expected Result: The match should maintain stable FPS and smooth performance throughout both halves.
Actual Result: The first half runs normally, but after halftime (especially once resuming from the menu), the FPS drops significantly in the second half.
Workaround: Currently, the only way to continue is to restart the entire game or simulate the rest of the match.
