Slow Loading Screen and Unable to Play Ultimate Team

Since I have purchased this game, I have been unable to play Ultimate Team even once. I have been troubleshooting for hours on end with no success. 

I click on Ultimate Team and look at the TOTW screen for minutes before an error message pops up saying that 'playing Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment.' How is this possible after so many of us have spent good money to play this game early? 

When I open the game, I look at a blue screen for a few minutes before the game reluctantly allows me to proceed. How was this game allowed to release with bugs such as this existing? 

The lack of communication when I have noticed many on this forum have mentioned it, and others on social media, is nothing short of disgraceful. Especially when considering the overall excitement we all felt in the build-up to this game. If this is not addressed soon, I will have no other choice but to refund the game, which is the last thing I want to do.
