Still 7 subs in Career Mode - Dec 26, 2025

It is nearly the end of december and even with all the updates, I am only seeing 7 substitutes not just in the career mode but also in classic kick-offs. I have tried starting a fresh career mode with current squads, with initial squads, with a premier league team, with a la liga team but in all the cases there are only 7 subs. I have also tried updating the squad & resetting the squads, still no luck. Has anyone found any solution to this issue?
