The EA games raise "EA anti-cheat not the latest version" error.

But the link in the error message is helpful, from which I got the link of this forum.

If it's possible, please use English as the error message, because nearly all the solutions on internet are in English.

With English error message we can find out the solutions in easier way.

And I also tried to download the recommended anti-cheat from 如何在 PC 上安装 EA Javelin 反作弊系统并排查常见问题 , and selected "update".

Then the "anti-cheat" crashed.

So, downloading the anti-cheat from https://help.ea.com/  can't fix it either.

Today I tried to update again, the anti-cheat didn't crash, but there was error message.

There are hundreds of customers meet the same error.

The following solutions only work for few of them:

1. Some of the people who have battle field VI, they accelerated the game and then were able to start other EA games in offline mode.
2. Some of the people who could update the anti-cheat successfully, were able to start games
3. Some of the people used VPN to change their position to USA, and then were able to update automatically and start the games.

However, only few of them could use above solutions.

The updating of anti-cheat on 12 Dec 2025 is a total disaster, a commercial failure.

On 14 Dec 2025, I tried to accelerate battle field VI, and then I was able to start FC 26.

In China we need to pay hundreds of CNY for VPN and accelerator, comparing with foreign customers, we need to pay extra price.
