Transfer list bug (lost coins)

Before today's downtime, I placed a bid on a player. When I went back into Ultimate Team after the downtime, the bid expired and I won the bid. 

However, when I go to claim the player and send them to my club, the game gives me the error "Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the Main Menu". 

I tried bidding for other players and sending them to my club and it works no problem. I also tried to claim on both the companion and the web app and the player is not displayed in both. 

The main problem here is, I have actually lost the coins I used to make the purchase and I am unable to claim the player.

  • The same thing happened to me, I also don't have access to claim the cards I bid on.

    But I was in contact with Support, who told me to try delete and download the game, and try waiting 24 hours, as it apparently takes 24 hours to get everything synchronised after a maintenance break.
