Unable to Connect to EA FC Servers

Hi there,

I was just playing a game of Rivals on FC26. Near the end of the match my opponent conceded a penalty and right after I scored the game went to a pause and I was instantly disconnected. I was kicked out to the FC 26 main page due to being unable to connect to EA servers. I have already checked to see if EA servers are up and I also have a working internet connection. 

Now every time I launch the game I am unable to connect to EA servers and hence unable to access Ultimate Team. I also get notified when launching the game with an error code EC:10610. I have attached a screenshot of this as a file. You can note that my friends list is loading but I am unable to use the overlay in game if I launch FC26. So I cannot identify which player I had just played against that seems to have caused this issue at this stage.

At times I also lose connection in the friends list and it states 'No Connection' near my user name, but this comes back now and then. I can confirm that I had and still have a working internet connection throughout this whole timeline. 

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated as I have paid to play the game in early access but unable to do so currently.

  • Okay, so a solution that worked for me was to reinstall the EA App. Obviously this is only useful for those on PC.

    Make sure you uninstall the app from windows settings then reinstall by downloading from the EA website.

    If the app is not showing up in installed apps then repair the app using the downloader from EA. You can then uninstall from windows settings. 

    EA if you could let me know who was in my match after I played around 7pm AEST so I can block them that would be appreciated. It was the first Rivals game right after a FUT draft game.
