Unable to submit eligible player into evolution

Hi, I’m currently trying submit an eligible player into “Old School Winger” Evolution but every time I click “Start Evolution” I receive “There was a problem connecting to the Football Ultimate Team servers, Please try again later.” It doesn’t kick me out and I’ve even tried on the companion app and receive “An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later.” But I’ve been trying for around 24 hours now I’ve previously had this player through 3 evolutions & cosmetic evolution and had plans to submit the player into the “Meep Meep” evolution after this one but I can’t seem to submit them.
