We've noticed that your computer is currently offline

Since signing up to the 10-hour EA Play trial for EA FC26, I have been unable to play the game due to receiving the error "We've noticed that your computer is currently offline" when trying to load into the game. After pressing "ok" on the error message, it takes me back to the EA app, which sometimes displays the error, which reads something like "we're experiencing an issue loading the game on our end." 

My computer is not offline, nor does the EA app say I am. I have tried EVERYTHING, including firing the game up on wifi, lan and hotspot. Nothing has worked. 

Playing on a PC which is perfectly capable of running this game, have attached my dxdiag below.

    Have exactly same problem. Have you purchased it through Steam or directly from EA? I have a EA Play and this 10h trial through Steam. Tried all sorts of tricks I was able to found from internet and ChatGPT but no luck so far. I have once got it open and had only time to play one game, but do not know what tricks I did then.

    Have you found any solution yet?

  • I have the same problem but with a regular copy of FC26, which I bought through EA app. Have been playing all month just fine, issue started a few days ago.

    In my case, only clue I have is that for some reason EA App doesn't show Steam as a connected account and that would be reason for this issue. When use browser and navigate to my account, the Steam is there. It is only App where it is not showing.

    I also can't do the re-linking because I recently did the link and there is 6 month time period where I can't do the link again. Contacted EA support about this and they say that they can do nothing. So my only hope is that somehow this issue disappears or I wait 6 months to see if re-linking would help. The support person even copy-pasted sort of explanation that they can do nothing and immediately closed the chat 😀

    This is really horrible customer service for poor products....
