What is going on EA?

For the past week, I have been unable to play UT even though I paid for early access.  Finally, last night, a few hours before the "regular" launch on the game, I was able to get in a few games without being disconnected.  Now today, the regular release day, we are back to where we were last week.  Can't connect to UT, games disconnect in the middle of the match, errors creating game session.  It is unacceptable that I paid extra for early access, was barely able to play, now on regular launch day, I still can not play.  Can I get a refund or compensation?  This experience is making me question if I should ever purchase another EA game again.  This fiasco is unacceptable.
