Wrong Server Location Despite Correct DNS Settings
Dear EA Support,
I recently checked my network and manually configured it to connect to the European EA servers for FIFA/EA FC, but my account is still being directed to a U.S. server.
Here’s what I’ve already done:
Set my DNS to Ziggo IPv4 DNS (Ziggo is a major internet provider in the Netherlands):
Primary: 84.116.46.20
Secondary: 84.116.46.21
Disabled IPv6 on my PC and network, so only IPv4 is used.
Fully restarted my modem and PC after setting the DNS.
Verified using nslookup: nslookup nfs.gos.ea.com still returns an IP address that EA identifies as a U.S. server (159.153.70+ or other U.S. IPs).
In short, everything seems correctly configured on my side, but it appears that my account or connection is being routed incorrectly to a U.S. server.
Could you please check whether my EA account is correctly set to use European servers, or make the necessary adjustments so that I am automatically routed to EU servers?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Kind regards,
Stikstak
