Account Restriction Issue – No Clear Duration, Refund Questions & Need Guidance

Hello everyone,

I would like to share my situation and ask for guidance.

I have been playing this game for many years and have followed almost every release in the series. This is the first time I have experienced such an issue.

My EA SPORTS FC account has been restricted from using key features such as the Transfer Market. I have contacted EA Support multiple times, but responses take around 48 hours and appear to be generic, without clear explanations. There is no live chat or real-time support, which makes the process very slow and difficult to follow.

I would also like to clarify that I did not intentionally engage in any cheating or unfair activity. I simply used the Transfer Market as part of normal gameplay. If I had engaged in coin distribution, my account would show unusually high coin balances, which it does not.

I have invested significant time and money into the game, and this situation feels unfair. I am unable to find a clear explanation or someone to directly communicate with.

I would like to ask the community and EA representatives the following questions:

  • How long will this restriction last? Why is there no clear duration?
  • Will this penalty carry over to FC 27 or future titles?
  • Am I eligible for refunds since I cannot fully use the content I purchased?
  • Is there any official authority or platform where I can formally raise a complaint about this situation?

If anyone has experienced something similar or has any advice, I would really appreciate your help.

    Is there anyone who can help me with this issue? I feel like I cannot reach anyone who can properly review my situation. I have tried EA Help and appeals, but I keep receiving the same responses without a clear explanation. Please, I really need help. If anyone has experienced something similar or knows what I can do, I would truly appreciate your guidance.

    Hello, this situation feels very unfair and I am disappointed that no real help is being provided. My EA SPORTS FC account has been restricted from using the Transfer Market, and I do not clearly understand what I did wrong. I was simply using the market as part of normal gameplay. This was a one-time trading attempt. It was not repeated, and there has been no similar activity before or after this on my account. My account has never shown any abnormal coin accumulation or unusual behavior. If this is considered a rule violation, why am I receiving the most severe penalty? I could have been warned or given a temporary restriction instead. Is a full Transfer Market ban the only possible action? I have invested money in FC Points, paid for the game, and spent a lot of time playing. Now I am unable to fully benefit from a service I paid for. Is there any way to escalate this to someone who can review it more carefully? I am simply asking for fairness and a clear explanation.

    When filling out an appeal, it gets reviewed by an employee, which is why it can take some time for responses. All information given gets taken into consideration at that point, but if the decision is that the ban is justified, then there's nothing else that can be done.

    Thank you for your responses, but I still feel that my situation has not been properly understood.

    I did not engage in any cheating or coin distribution. My account has never shown any unusually high coin balances or abnormal activity. I was simply using the Transfer Market as part of normal gameplay.

    I would really like to explain my situation in detail to someone who can properly review it. Is there any direct contact method such as an email address or a live support agent where I can speak with a real representative and receive a faster, more personalized response?

    I have invested a significant amount of money into the game through FC Points purchases, and it is very concerning for me that all of this could be lost without a proper explanation.

    The EA Help support system has not been helpful for me, as responses are very slow and appear to be automated.

    I kindly ask for your help — there must be a way to resolve this situation. I would really appreciate any guidance, as I am afraid that my time, effort, and money will be lost for nothing.

    Hey ect10​,

    You should have gotten an email with more information about your ban or suspension. If you got a transfer market ban, those tend to be permanent (unless overturned) and don't transfer to later titles. (Players who got a transfer market ban in FC 25 can still use the transfer market in FC 26, for example.)

    Account bans are not grounds for a refund, no.

    You can raise another dispute with our terms of service team, but if they decide that the ban was justified then I'm afraid it'll likely stay on your account.

    Hello ect10​,

    a transfer market ban generally lasts for the duration of the installment, so for all of FC 26 in this case. It doesn't transfer over to future titles.

    As it's been banned due to a rule breach, you would not be eligible for a refund. You can appeal your ban through the penalty history.

    Unfortunately, we cannot help with ban appeals and information here in the forum as we don't have access to account information here.
