Account was banned for no reason

I haven’t logged in to play for a while but yet I receive several emails telling me that my password was changed even though I didn’t request for a password changed, fearing my account security was breached I changed my password and the next thing I knew I received another email telling me that my account has been disabled… in addition to that I’ve been receiving emails telling me someone else has been purchasing copies of the game from Hong Kong when I’m based in Singapore… I’ve lodged a case with the team for this but they’re taking too long to even respond, the reason the hacker used written in Chinese loosely translated is that he/she has trouble reproducing 🙄 what kind of basis is that for disabling my account to begin with…

  • I’ve sent a case to the support team and they told me that the permanent ban still stands and if it’s really like what you mentioned that the account has been compromised how can I regain online access for my FC 26 account?

    I did not receive any email ending with @disabled.ea.com. Just from customer help telling me that they reviewed my account and they decided that it should be permanently banned. Does this mean that I won’t be able to play future FC releases as well? But firstly I’d like to get my account restored because I really didn’t make use of any cheating methods during gameplay, I myself find it annoying when I play against other players who are obviously using 3rd party software…

    Hi so I logged in to check and it just says that my account has been disabled. I’ve tried appealing several times but they keep insisting that I’ve been using glitches or 3rd party software that violates gameplay. For reference I’m using a PS5 and I don’t even know how these 3rd party software works. I initially received an email saying that my account was suspended for 28 days but then now it tells me that my account has been disabled and I don’t even know the reason why. It’s frustrating because I’ve spent so much time and effort since the release of the game abiding by the rules but yet I’ve been banned permanently for something I didn’t commit.

    Disabled? When you try to log into your game, do you get a message that your platform account is linked to an email ending with @disabled.ea.com?

    We won't have visibility into your account or what happens on it through the EA Forums, but if you do have an EA account with an email ending with @disabled.ea.com, it could be for a few different reasons, like:

    • You haven't logged in for a long time
    • The account was compromised and then locked
    • Someone requested an account deletion
    • The account was banned by TOS

     

    From what you shared above, it sounds like #2, compromised account. The lock serves to protect the account from further compromise until you can connect with the support team directly to recover access and reset your security protections.

    Can you share what steps you took to log a case? I'm wondering if you sent in an appeal with Terms of Service, or if you opened a help case with the support team.
