Can't get into a rival game since last update

I'm playing on PC. I have two gamepads that worked just fine before last update, since then, I always get this error when I try to start a rival game. 

At first, one of the two controllers had this error, when I try the second one, the game wouldn't respond to my input to choose the kit and hit ready to start the game (the A button won't work, although it worked in previous menus)

Now both controllers have the same issue provided in the screenshot.

Any help?
