EA FC 26 Microsoft Refund

Hi everyone,

Just looking for some advice or if anyone has been in a similar situation.

My son had a friend over and without my knowledge, the kid got onto my account and made a purchase of FC Points totaling over $150. I only found out when I saw the charge come through. I've personally spent close to $500 on this game over time so it's not like I don't support the game — this was just a purchase I didn't make and didn't authorize.

I contacted Microsoft and got the refund processed. I also spoke to EA Support and explained what happened, and they told me my account is fine. But I just wanted to come here and see if anyone has dealt with something similar and whether there's anything else I should be doing to make sure everything stays good on my account.

I play FC every other day and the last thing I want is any issues over something that was out of my control. Has anyone been through this? Any advice appreciated.

    Hi there. If MS refunded you, you should be fine. Going forward though, it would be good to lock down purchasing so that nobody but yourself has that authorization. Instructions for that can be found here. Thanks!
