Game crashes in Squad battle (PC) - No ErrorCode
Game crashes in SQB mode while I m winning the AI with big score (more than 6-0). It crashed two times today when I put some sub players on court. After the sub, the game ran for like 10 sec and then freezed and crashed with no error code. EA app automatically shut down afterwards with no error code as well.
PC - steam - windows 10 latest version. CPU intel i7-14700kf. GPU AMD RX 9070xt. I think the GPU has decent performance and should not be a constraint unless FC26 is too badly programmed. Playing hours and hours and constantly crashes in the middle of the game sucks. Imagine having 8 out of 16 games in squad battle are 0-3 because the game crashes. Arrogant EA don't even offer any compensate for that.
So I ve been playing this game since its pre-release and there were no crashes until today. No hardware or drivers update has been done for my PC. In fact, the game ran pretty well less than 24hrs ago.
It is really frustrating because I am not a very good player who can win most of the games and have fun in division rivals. Most of my joy and rewards come from squad battle. Crashing 2 times meaning that I was forced to forfeit 2 games and there is no need to play anymore this week.
To the community and developers of the game, I would like to say that winning provide most of the fun in the game, it is hard to lose and still have fun. As a Division 4 player in 25, I think squad battles serve the purpose of being an important buffer zone for people who just want some joy in UT after a tiring round of rivals. However not only EA put DDA in this mode but also the stability of this mode has always been an issue, disconnection when winning or crashes when winning happened a lot in fc24 and 25 as well. If you play this mode you will know that if you have a 85 rating team and you win a 60 ratings team 8-0, then the next match your AI opponent is going to be super wild and difficult to play against. I spend time and money to grind to reach 85 ovr team and wining over a 60ovr is what I deserve. It is not like I steal the win, so why is EA punishing me in the next game? Moreover, the main purpose of this game is to grind or pay for players with advanced stats. EA charges us a lot of FC Points just for a +2 upgrade. However countless times in Squadbattles, I find bronze card or silver card with low pace stats run faster then my 90 pace players. If EA is disrespecting the face stats of cards themselves, why would any player invest time or money to get these cards?
