Lost Early Access Benefits Due to Controller Bug - PC

I purchased EA FC 26 in advance mainly to enjoy the Early Access period, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take advantage of it at all.

From day one, my controller worked fine in menus and against AI, but it did not work in online matches. Every time I tried to play, I was kicked for inactivity. This issue completely ruined the Early Access experience for me.

The problem was only fixed on September 24th, meaning I lost the main benefit I paid extra for: starting earlier, progressing faster, and competing with other players during the first days. Instead, I was stuck watching others advance while I couldn’t play the mode I bought the game for.

This is really frustrating, as it’s not just a minor inconvenience, it directly affected my progress, rewards, and competitive balance.

I believe EA should provide compensation to all players who were affected by this issue, since we paid for Early Access but didn’t actually get it. Otherwise, there is no reason to keep trusting pre-orders in the future.

Has anyone seen an official statement or compensation plan from EA about this? Did something similar happen in previous years, or should we just accept the frustration?

Exactly. EA is just ignoring us. We paid for Early Access but got no advantage, no rewards, no compensation. What’s the point of paying extra if it gives nothing?

It makes no sense that we lost our time, our rewards, and the competitive edge, and EA acts like an apology is enough. At the very least, there should be some form of reward or compensation for all players affected, otherwise paying for Early Access has no real value.
