Man, i'm legit sorry to hear that. I've heard many stories like that recently. They are legit just trying to force players to buy points. Don't know why they even bother having a transfermarket anymore. I guess they just want players to rely less and less on the market and more and more on untradeables, which probably also the reason why 90% of the packs are untradeable. On top of that, what is the point of price ranges if you can't even buy the players within their ranges safely. Crazy to think back to old fifa's where you could still exchange players with someone else, and a market that was like the wild west. They've been ruining UT for years now, hopefully somebody brings out a different decent Football game soon, this is just unacceptable. Keep us updated though, hope you get your account back in full.

I've been potentially banned for the exact reason u have, every night I stayed up late and the market suddenly gets flushed with open bid players so I made huge profits from them. 

My only guess at the reason for the ban is that I in some way bought multiple cards from some dude that was mass listing cards on open bid. 

I've reached 6mil in this account after 1300 hours played yet they just banned me from the market last week before TOTY. 

My appeal has been kept on "'waiting on studio'' for 5 days now!!!! I'm kind of happy someone else got banned for this cause maybe it means they will realise many players on PC were wrongfully banned for the same reason and solve these cases faster.

I really hope an EA employee sees this post man it actually sucks to have dedicated so much time on the game just  to get your hard work demolished in an instant.

Hi how many DAYS are we talking regarding your appeal? I just an appeal today and i strongly believe it is because of Winter Wildcards cards. I bought and sell 2 WW Cordoba yesterday and got banned today

Got the mail yesterday morning and appealed the same day. So far no reaction.

Obv didnt coin distribute. I can only think of 2 reasons. 

1. bought ww Pina (striker) vor 1.8M short after release and sold her days later for 300k. Watched a futaccountant Vid that day or the day before where he said, that it is a good idea to buy 30 to 45 Min after release of the card. Yeah, not a good idea.
2. i ve like 15 cornerstones adeyemi on TM, which i bought at like 60k in the last 4 weeks cause i thought he would go extinct. Yeah, bad idea too. Sold like 3 of them for around 80k in the last days, still waited for price range.

Other than that no idea.

Its infuriating to get banned without reason, but its even worse, like in both of our cases right now, when it happened right before the biggest promo of the year. 
And all that, just because we decided to put MORE time into the game, fully committing to trading to be able to even afford anything during the promo. I was at about 2.6m right before i got banned, made about 1.5m in 3-4 days. Was super excited that the time i spent trading was finally being rewarded after countless mediocre attempts.
But here we are. Praying to be unbanned, when it shouldn't even be a question. Already missed out on loads of content during our bans for no reason whatsoever.

First of all, thank you for your message, knowing im not the only one makes the uncertainty if I will even get my account back a little better.
Other than that, couldn't agree more with what you said, as much as i would like to believe this wasn't true.
Its insane to me that anyone can even be banned after selling players they won on bid in general, at ANY pricepoint. Bids can be contested by anyone at any time, its literally impossible to do any sort of coin transferring through them, other than bidding way more than the player is worth, which obviously didn't happen. 

What's also insane to me, is that any employee from the TOS team could just look up the market data of the bought and sold players on my account and resolve this matter within MINUTES. But no, 5 days later I'm still sitting here not even knowing if I will even get my account back at all.

Would love if someone else managed to make a big football game that could legitimately rival FC Ultimate team, but we all know how likely that is...

I hope your case will be resolved much quicker than mine. Hopefully they don't just deny the first appeal like they did in my case after less than 24 hours, after obviously not even looking into anything properly

What's most shocking about this is when large amounts of normal traders and players are banned (the people that make shareholders money, before the biggest promo of the year) EA has no method in place to have a REAL PERSON review this issue and not respond with an automated form letter. Failure on every level.

Starting from the second ban appeal it looks like an actual person checks the case, which is still a joke since the first one basically always gets automatically denied. Then the second ban appeal, like in my case right now, usually takes a week or longer to be reviewed. No updates or any messages in between.

Same thing happened to me on PC on Sunday 11th after working hard to build up to 1.7 mil coins and trading legitimately. 

Coin wipe appeal denied, transfer banned and then appeal pending referencing the coin wipe.

here is my story:

I just wanted to update on this. 

I started playing FIFA in 1997 and have played up to FIFA 17 - mainly ultimate team then and really enjoyed packing TOTY CR7- unfortunately due to life circumstances (children) I gave up playing till FC23 when I restarted.  

I want to prefix that I have never gone against the terms of service and never abused the game/transfer market or bought or sold any coins. I am also in real life in an extremely responsible position (life and death decisions) and have always payed my taxes and never had any penalties imposed for my driving licence or have never broken the law!

I started playing FC26 shortly after launch and mainly ultimate team and slowly but surely started with good squad and completed the objectives as the seasons progressed and managed to assemble a very nice untradeable squad. 

I had an aim of improving my chance of buying my favourite player (Mbappe) who was 1.5million coins until recently by actively trading on the transfer market.

I sought to buy my teams on Sunday night after champs and sell before next champs to make modest profits with the aim of buying my favourite player around the time of TOTY  

I also bought TOTW for 12.75k on Sundays and sold for 15k to make modest profits toward SBC times etc  

I noticed an Evo on Friday 9th of January -fountain of youth and learned CR7 gold would fit so I bought him for 5.7k then changed my mind as I heard he would not have rapid step and sold him for market value at the time of 9k (prices had almost doubled due to his scarcity). I then changed my mind again on Saturday and bought him back but this time for 10k  (prices had maxed due to Cr7 going extinct on PC).  Long story short I was still of 2 minds and sold him again for 10k and took a small loss. It was instantly bought as there were no CR7 Ronaldo’s (gold) on the market.

I eventually amassed 1.682million coins by 10th January and was really pleased that I could buy Mbappe and perhaps 1 or 2 TOTY players.

I was horrified to discover the above email on Sunday the 12th January that I received an email suggesting I was involved in coins transfer and had all my coins wiped but I was able to play the game. That day for only the 2nd time I played and got promoted to Division 6 in Rivals and looked forward to playing my 2nd champs, only I didn’t as losing all my coins given I was innocent (did not participate in coin buying or distribution but was coin wiped), left a bitter taste in my mouth. All the past 3 months of hard work were taken away through no fault of my own.

After 2 days I got this email today banning me from the transfer market on top of the on wipe!

I am utterly devasted and feel I’m automatically been effectively criminalised without any wrong doing.

I got this response from the TOS team I believe today in email:

I am so unhappy about this outcome as I’ve always been a person of integrity and honesty and this has shook my belief of playing by the rules rules and get punished for no wrong doing.

I am now scared of ever using the transfer market to better my team if this ever happens in the future   

I would love the TOS (terms of service team) team to look against my case and see that I am a legitimate gamer and have never broken any rules, I also have amassed probably close to 1000 games in Ultimate team and wanted to better my skills hence got promoted to division 6.

Please Please look at my case again and overturn this case of miscarriage of justice EA!

Got the exact same reply, which proves that they don't look at anything before denying the first ban appeal. This issue still not even getting acknowledged, days later is wild. 

Yes it's extremely frustrating to get the exact same reply everyone else gets from a low level support worker who doesn't understand the game. I wish there was a way to escalate that doesn't involve me looking around linkedin and twitter for the names of heads of departments.

Got banned today for the same trading method, please make some buzz about this on social media. This cannot go unnoticed. We need some outrage for EA to do something.

What EA need to figure out is that legit players should be able to interact with ANY card ANY listing on the market without fear that somehow it's sold by a coin seller/used in a coin transfer/is the wrong price. On PC especially the low supply, large price swings and bots listing for min selling for max destroys the system they're trying to use to detect these issues. 

Quick update (18/01) 
Still no response, been 7 days now since i initially opened my ban appeal.

I was also banned during this period on January 10. And I didn't break any rules. And I haven't received a response to my appeal yet

I'm in the same boat. My story is identical — active night trading on PC, including buying two players on open bid, and I got hit with a ban. My appeal is stuck at "Waiting on Studio," banned on 17.01.2026. I also completed an SBC and got Cordoba. I have absolutely no idea what is going on.

I have the same problem. I play on PC, which has a much smaller playerbase than console, which means the transfer market is a lot less active in comparison. And as you know for TOTY period market crashed. No one want to buy player beacuse of the crash. 

I buy WW cruyf and stam with the bid and selling them +300 k more. I dont sell or buy coin. Just tranding.

EA banned me all FC not only transfer market full of entire game.

This is not fair. I played hours and gain 12 M and ea banned me unfair reason.

EA says you are buyying and selling coin but ı didn't.
