Season 3 evo tournament cup matchmaking

I've been trying to complete the objectives for this tournament every day since it came out. All five entries every day and have only been able to win 8 matches. Of course I get knocked out of the semi finals after I win the first round. Why do I always get matched against way better opponents than me? Shouldn't losses be accounted for when I'm searching for a match? Why are you making it easier for elite players to have easy opponents while I and others like me are getting butchered. It's like you're matching a fly weight boxer against a heavy weight every time! That's nonsense and shouldn't happen. Are match results accounted for like in DR and WL or not? I'd like to know.

    There is no matchmaking rating in Live Events. You can thank the streamers who cried about not being able to complete their objectives and were the main reason why EA removed MMR from Live Events. It honestly doesn't make sense that just because streamers had a hard time with the Live Events, that everyone else has to get screwed. The truth of the matter though, is that not only did we also have a hard time completing our own objectives when matched against people of our own ELO, but now we're even more screwed having to match those we should not be matching up with to begin with. I really hate that they've been throwing us casuals under the bus for some time now! >:/

    Bruh I just came on here to make a thread about the Season 3 Evo cup matchmaking it's **bleep** hilarious

    I'm unbeaten in Rivals for 2 days and Champs I did well after a bad start but I haven't even been able to win the first round yet. The opponent is either far better or I dominate and somehow don't score 😂🤔

    Yeah I've seen how delighted elite skilled players are with these tournaments. Now they have non sweaty modes and they're loving it. Also I'm hearing that there are less casuals playing the game and I'm guessing unbalanced  unfair matchmaking is a major reason for their departure. Why would anyone bother playing when you know your opponent is almost always way better than you? 90%+ matches in tournaments are losses for me I wonder if there are many others struggling like me.

    There are many but EA only cares about the streamers because they advertise for them (whether they're affiliated or not). If they're having a good time with the game they'll send that message out to their audiences that this is a fun game. Unfortunately, casuals have been getting screwed since last year; making rewards harder to access, locking us out of gamemodes, etc.

    Now I'm 100% sure there's something wrong with matchmaking. I was able to complete all ultimate gauntlet 6 objectives and all bonus objectives in four entries. That's exactly twelve matches. And the matches were well  balanced. Not extremely hard like last time and not easy. The last gauntlet (5) was way much harder to the point where I literally won only 2 or 3 matches from the entire 14 entries which are 42 matches. So clearly my suspicion was accurate that matchmaking is broken and unfair. I hope EA can acknowledge this like they did during the first WL and make a permanent fix for it.
