Two Different Games?

Guys & Girls,

Can anyone possibly help me? I’m 42, serious skill issues, but everytime I try to play online it’s like a badly written comedy….

90% of people I’m playing against seem to be playing an entirely different game to me - they’re players are incredibly fast, responsive, able to move/pass/dribble at speeds my players can’t achieve online…..

Is this because I’m using the old Xbox console? X vs S or whatever it is? 

Is it internet based? I’m wired 1Gb Virgin SuperfastSuperglue. Less than 1m from router to Xbox to TV?

Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can play a fair game and not sit laughing comically as Harry Kane outpaces my entire defence, as my defensive AI shuts down and plays like a 68 rated squad on Semi Pro squad battles…. 😂

To note, I weirdly don’t get this issue on Rush games 🤔

    Its cheaters, they are on all platforms, if you turn on "team press" cheat stops 20 seconds then again same, your ai defenders not follow the game, his marking is insane gk often on 100% the cheat my turn off after they take the lead, your ai stickers won't open for scoring position or pass, its cheat sold online for 15$ and ea not doing much about it

    I wouldn’t have said I’m encountering people cheating tbh. If I change approximate match making & cross-play both to OFF it seems to slightly improve my player speed/agility/ai/passing speeds…..

    but then I get stutter lag. 

    ping no difference regardless.

    Toty is coming let's bring this game to halt by only playing last year's edition during this period

    What you have encountered is many cases is probably cheaters.

    When you see that the other player has tremendous speed and the players never get tired, this is usually the reason.
