Ultimate Team disconnects in 2nd half – Turkey / IPv4-IPv6 issue

Hello, I am playing EA FC Ultimate Team online matches from Istanbul, Turkey.

During almost every online match, the connection to EA servers disconnects in the second half of the game.

After reconnecting to Ultimate Team, I receive match loss and penalty, even though the disconnect is completely outside of my control.

Important details:

  • Location: Istanbul, Turkey
  • Game mode: Ultimate Team (Online Matches)
  • Issue timing: Mostly second half of the match
  • Internet connection: Stable, no general internet drop
  • Other online games work without any issue

After researching this problem, I found that many users report this issue is related to IPv4 / IPv6 transition or CGNAT, which is common with ISPs in Turkey.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to modem/router settings, so I cannot manually change IPv4/IPv6 configurations.

This appears to be a server-side session handling issue, not a user disconnect.

Being penalized for something outside the player’s control is extremely frustrating.

I kindly ask EA to:

  • Investigate IPv4 / IPv6 related disconnects for Turkey region
  • Prevent penalties when a server-side disconnect occurs
  • Provide an official workaround for players who cannot access modem settings

    Thanks for the link. I’ve checked, but the issue only happens in EA FC Ultimate Team online matches, mostly in the second half. Other online games work perfectly, so this is clearly not on my side. It seems to be a server-side or IP configuration issue.

    Can EA provide a proper solution or workaround for players who cannot change modem/router settings?
