Why is UT so buggy?

It crashes on me in so many ways:

• when I search for players to evo
• when I select player to evo
• when I go to the store
• When I click to collect objectives
• when I start an online match 

it’s honestly become unplayable. I have to either close and restart the game, or sit there for two minutes waiting for the game to kick me out of that screen or out of UT altogether. And then try again with fingers crossed. 

oh, and no matter what I do I can’t get the lobbed through balls gameplay setting to stay on “manual”. I literally have to switch it from “semi” for every single match. 

what’s going on?? How do I fix this?
