World Cup Live Dynamic Cards for Ultimate Team

Hi EA SPORTS FC Team,

I have an idea for Ultimate Team before the FIFA World Cup in USA, Canada and Mexico.

It would be amazing to introduce World Cup Live Dynamic Cards, similar to Road to the Final cards from UEFA competitions. These cards would upgrade during the tournament based on national team progress.

Possible upgrade path:

Qualify from group stage: +1 OVR

Reach Round of 16: new Role+ or PlayStyle

Reach Quarter Finals: +1 OVR

Reach Semi Finals: weak foot or skill move upgrade

Reach Final: new PlayStyle+

Win the World Cup: final OVR upgrade and special champion design

This would make every World Cup match more exciting for Ultimate Team players. People would follow national teams not only as football fans, but also because their live cards could upgrade.

It could include:

World Cup Live Cards

Showdown SBCs for big matches

Nation-based Evolutions

Dynamic Heroes and Icons

Objectives linked to national team progress

I think this would create huge hype during the World Cup and keep Ultimate Team fresh throughout the tournament.

    Another idea to make this World Cup Live promo even better:

     

    EA could release three World Cup Live cards for each qualified national team:

     

    - one defender

    - one midfielder

    - one attacker

     

    This would make the promo more balanced and more interesting for squad building, because every country would have players from different parts of the pitch, not only attackers.

     

    Another option could be to choose the captain or the biggest star of each national team, but I think the defender/midfielder/attacker version would give Ultimate Team players more choice.

     

    Each card could upgrade based on the progress of its national team during the World Cup, similar to live European competition cards.

     

    The upgrades could also depend on the player position:

     

    - attackers could receive shooting, pace, skill move or weak foot upgrades

    - midfielders could receive passing, dribbling, role or PlayStyle upgrades

    - defenders could receive defending, physical or defensive PlayStyle upgrades

    - goalkeepers could receive reactions, diving or handling upgrades

     

    This would make every card feel different and more connected to the player’s role on the pitch.

     

    It would also make every World Cup match more exciting for Ultimate Team players, because people would follow national teams not only as football fans, but also because their live cards could upgrade during the tournament.
